British currency rises on news from the UK

The British sterling rate is rising on Tuesday after three days of decline amid news related to quarantine restrictions in the UK. The current pound rate is 1.3935.

This correctional gain in the currency comes amid news that the UK has lifted quarantine requirements for passengers arriving from the US and the European Union from 2 August if they are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
