Germany shared views on the future of Nord Stream 2

According to a statement from the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, an association uniting German companies in Eastern Europe and the post-Soviet space, sanctions against the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline should be lifted with the arrival of new US President Joe Biden.

The committee representatives noted that American interference in European affairs should remain in the past, and the United States and the European Union should develop an absolutely equal partnership.

The committee also stressed that the policy of sanctions should be based on international law, which implies the further development of this energy project.
