China threatens to retaliate against countries that support US economic pressure

China is ready to take retaliatory measures against countries that support US attempts to isolate Beijing. This statement was made against the backdrop of a deepening trade conflict between the world's two largest economies, which threatens to involve other states in the confrontation.

The administration of Donald Trump plans to use tariff negotiations to get partners to limit their ties with China. Earlier, the United States announced a 90-day freeze on tariff increases for a number of countries, while increasing duties on Chinese goods to 145%.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that any agreements detrimental to the interests of the country are unacceptable. Beijing is ready to use countermeasures to protect its interests and has warned that such actions could lead to the destruction of the global trading system and a return to the «law of the jungle.»

Beijing stressed its willingness to cooperate with other countries, protecting the fairness and legality of international trade. At the same time, the US actions were called «unilateral intimidation» and «tariff abuse», which, according to Beijing, threatens global stability.
