The economy minister of Japan, Toshimitsu Motegi, says that the government needs to check various economic indicators to know if it is appropriate to officially end the deflation.
He also pointed out the necessity to reach the two percent inflation target to be able to approve terminating deflation in response to the question about the inflation target.
The government is headed towards ending the deflation but the government has to look at the trends heedfully, as Motegi explained to the reporters.
