• The peace talks in London were unsuccessful and ended only with an agreement to meet again to continue discussions. The main reason for the disruption was Ukraine's unwillingness to recognize Crimea as part of Russia, which led to the cancellation of Rubio's visit to the event. At the same time, France and the United Kingdom are ready to admit that Ukraine has lost control over some territories.

The main concerns of US citizens are related to inflation, the cost of living, the growing national debt, social protection and crime, according to surveys.

• The United States is considering the possibility of reducing duties on goods from China. The White House intends to do this to reduce tensions with Beijing, which negatively affects global trade and investment. Tariffs for some goods may be reduced by more than two times.
