The Bank of Japan Governor, Haruhiko Kuroda, emphasized the necessity of the nation to have a “powerful” monetary easing because they are still far from the two percent target of the central bank. Also, he said that the economic fundamentals and gains of companies have been better that neutralizes the recent selloff in the stock market implicating that the economy is not spiraling down. Kuroda also commented to the parliament that they are keenly observing both domestic and international market movements since these would have a significant effect to the country’s pricing and economic overall situation.
