The president stressed that he was not considering the possibility of removing Powell from office, and also expressed his willingness to discuss with China the conditions for reducing tariffs at a significant level. These statements have become a key signal for market participants. Against the background of these events, the yield on long-term Treasury bonds decreased by more than 10 bps, reaching about 4.29%. At the same time, the futures of the S&P 500 index recorded an increase of several percent, reflecting an improvement in stock market sentiment.
