Нефть резко подешевела на фоне снижения спроса

Сырая нефть в настоящее время является одним из самых волатильных торговых инструментов, ее цена находится под почти постоянным давлением с начала 2020 года.

По состоянию на 17:00 мск стоимость нефти марки Brent подешевела на 3,26%, до $51,09, обновив двухлетний минимум, тогда как североамериканская нефть марки WTI – на 3,59%, до $46,98, минимума с декабря 2018 года.

Причина падения – угроза коронавируса. Ранее нефтяные котировки снижались из-за падения спроса со стороны Китая, крупнейшего в мире импортера нефти, так как предприятия и заводы оставались закрытыми или имели ограниченную мощность, а также остановки работы общественного транспорта.

После того как вирус распространился за пределы Китая – в Европу, Южную Корею и Японию, инвесторы опасаются, что другие страны будут применять аналогичные меры.

В конечном итоге все усилия ОПЕК+ по сокращению объем добычи не привели к нужному результату, поэтому организация стран-экспортеров нефти совместно с Россией на следующей неделе проведет очередное заседание, на котором предстоит обсудить дальнейший план по сдерживанию цен на нефть.
