Международный сервис такси Uber опубликовал первый квартальный финансовый отчет в качестве публичной компании. Руководители Uber полагают, что компания достигла запланированных финансовых результатов.

Выручка компании за первые 3 месяца текущего года составила $3,1 млрд, что на 20% больше, чем в аналогичный период прошлого года.

Убытки Uber за первый квартал 2019 года превысили $1 млрд из-за роста расходов на сервис по доставке еды Uber Eats и бизнес грузоперевозок

Число забронированных поездок за отчетный период увеличилось на 34% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом 2018 года.

Количество активных пользователей Uber по всему миру составило 93 млн человек, что на 2 млн больше, чем в предыдущем квартале.

Инвесторы сдержанно отнеслись к первому после процедуры публичного размещения акций финансовому отчету компании. IPO стало крупнейшим за последние пять лет, но при этом может стать самым провальным в истории Нью-Йоркской фондовой биржи, поскольку в первый же день инвесторы потеряли  $617 млн.

В конце недели, по состоянию на 17:00 мск, акции Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER) подешевели на 0,64% до 39,55$ за штуку, но по-прежнему торгуются вблизи ключевого уровня 40$.
