США пока не определились с содержанием второго пакета санкций против России

Помощник госсекретаря США Кристофер Форд заявил о том, что американские власти продолжают прорабатывать содержание второго пакета санкций против России, связанных с использованием химического и биологического оружия, а также непосредственно с происшествием в Солсбери (отравление Скрипалей). При этом политик отметил, что документ все еще находится на стадии разработки и обсуждения.

К. Форд также отметил, что второй пакет санкций будет носить «более драконовский характер», чем те санкции, которые были введены 27 августа в связи с обвинениями России в отравлении бывшего российского разведчика Сергея Скрипаля и его дочери.

Тем не менее Соединенные Штаты не сумели получить доказательств несоблюдения Россией американского закона о химическом и бактериологическом оружии от 1991 года, поэтому еще не определено точное время введения новых санкционных мер.
