Saudi Arabia has expressed its willingness to increase investment and trade with the United States to the tune of $600 billion over the next four years. At the same time, the possibility of additional investments exceeding the declared volume is allowed. This was announced by Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, which took place on January 22. During the conversation, prospects for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States aimed at strengthening peace, security and stability in the Middle East region were discussed. In addition, special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the framework of joint efforts to combat international terrorism. The increased investment is expected to have a significant impact on the economic development of both countries, as well as be an important step in strengthening their strategic partnership.
