Argentine President Javier Miley has sent official letters to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping rejecting the invitation to join the BRICS. It is also noted that Miley informed Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South African leader Cyril Ramaphosa of his decision. In his letters, Miley noted that some decisions taken by the previous government will be reviewed. Among them is the creation of a specialized unit for the country's active participation in the BRICS.
