Now, according to Morawiecki, Poland will impose a full embargo on the import of oil, gas and coal from Russia in April or May. In addition, the Prime Minister said that Poland has already significantly reduced its dependence on Russian oil and intends to make every effort to completely abandon raw materials from Russia by the end of the year. Morawiecki called on other European countries to follow his example. Poland also calls on the European Commission to impose a tax on Russian hydrocarbons so that «trade is fair.» In addition, the minister stressed that the country will not allow the import of Russian coal from private individuals. «Financial sanctions will be provided for violation of the ban, the customs service will be engaged in the verification,» Moravetsky said.
