Customs in Thailand has already cleared the annual exports probably soared for five successive months in July as stated by the reports from Reuters. This is mainly due to better global growth and high demand for commodities. The forecasted figure of Thailand’s Exports growth for the month of July last year is 11.6 following a growth of 11.7 in June as stated from the median prediction from a number of analysts. A rise of 0.5 percent is anticipated after an upsurge of 0.5 percent within three years of contraction. The data shows recovery in 2017 after a weakened growth for some years. The country’s currency, baht, has significantly appreciated by 7.6 percent against the dollar for the year which is the largest gain in Asia. Imports climbed by 13.0 percent in July last year while it grew by 13.7 percent in June according to the survey. On the other hand, the trade surplus is presumed to decline to $800 million in July compared to $1.92 billion surpluses in June.
