Сегодня в Санкт-Петербурге была проведена встреча мониторингового комитета ОПЕК со странами-участницами последнего Венского соглашения о заморозке добычи нефти в мире. Несмотря на пессимистичный настрой участников рынка перед мероприятием, участники энергетической сделки приняли решение и дальше продолжать сокращать добычу «черного золота». В результате, нефть поднялась в цене, достигнув отметки $48,60 за баррель, после недавнего падения до $47,83 за баррель. 

Министр Саудовской Аравии отметил прекрасное исполнение обязательств всех партнеров, в результате чего с мирового рынка было убрано более 350 млн баррелей нефти за последние полгода. Более того, Халед аль-Фалех заявил, что страна выступает за дальнейшее продление соглашения и поддерживает Ливию и Нигерию в их приоритетном стремлении стабилизировать объемы собственной добычи углеводорода. Многие страны-участницы соглашения согласны на пролонгацию условий сделки и после марта 2018 года.
