В Китае нашли крупнейшее месторождение золота

На востоке Китая было обнаружено крупнейшее за всю историю страны месторождение золота. Запасов золотоносного рудника, принадлежащего компании Shandong Gold Group, хватит на 40 лет бесперебойной добычи. Всего обнаружено около 382,5 тонн золота, в долларовом эквиваленте этот объем равняется $22 млрд. По предварительным данным, залежи драгоценного металла простираются на 2 километра в длину и 67 метров в толщину. Предполагается, что объемы запасов могут достичь 550 тонн золота. Точная информация может быть получена только после завершения разведывательных работ, на которые понадобится около двух лет. 

Теперь район провинции Шаньдун считается главным золотодобывающим регионом Китайской народной республики. Напомним, что КНР является лидером по добыче золота во всем мире. В 2015 году китайские золотодобывающие компании переработали 490 тонн золота, и страна продолжает наращивать темпы и объемы производства. К сравнению – Россия добыла 293 тонны ценного металла в прошлом году. После обнаружения рудника стоимость акций компании Shandong Gold Group выросла на 2,8%.
