Власти Шанхая намерены перевести около 60% городских автобусов на экологически чистые источники энергии.

Власти крупнейшего в мире по численности населения города разработали план развития «умной» и «зеленой» транспортной системы. Сроки реализации плана пока не уточняются. Также планируется предоставлять услуги по аренде автомобилей на чистой энергии.

Власти китайской столицы – Пекина – намерены все городские такси перевести на «новые источники энергии». Сейчас в городе насчитывается 71 тыс. такси, подавляющее большинство которых (67 тыс.) работают на бензине и дизельном топливе. Приблизительная стоимость проекта по предварительным оценкам составляет $1,31 млрд. Однако в результате уменьшится загрязнение окружающей среды и зависимость города от поставок энергоресурсов.

Автомобили на новых источниках энергии — это, в основном, гибриды, сочетающие горючее топливо и электроэнергию, «чистые» электромобили и машины на водородном топливе.
