Мировые рынки заканчивают непростую неделю – обвал цен на нефть на фоне пандемии коронавируса вызвал резкое падение основных фондовых индексов, а также вынудил ведущие центробанки принять экстренные меры по поддержанию экономической стабильности.
 
В то время как число новых зараженных вирусом Covid-19 в Китае продолжает снижаться, европейские страны с каждым днем страдают все больше и больше. Во многих странах-члены ЕС закрывают школы и университеты, а также отменяют публичные мероприятия, чтобы предотвратить распространение вируса.
 
Также выросло число новых случаев заболевания коронавирусом в Соединенных Штатах. Однако из-за нехватки тестовых наборов и недостаточного медицинского страхования населения есть подозрение, что многие случае заражения не будут зарегистрированы.
 
Тем не менее спикер Палаты представителей США Нэнси Пелоси объявила, что план по урегулированию ситуации почти готов. Пелоси и ее команда ведут переговоры о специальных мерах с администрацией Трампа.
 
После нескольких неудачных дней для фондовых рынков, сегодня американские индексы, наконец, начинают восстанавливаться. Инвесторы надеются, что правительство выполнит свой план по борьбе с эпидемией в ближайшее время. Сдержанный оптимизм также вызван вчерашними заявлениями представителей Федеральной резервной системы США о дополнительном пакете стимулирующих мер, призванного улучшить ликвидность рынка.
