Премьер-министр Великобритании Борис Джонсон в интервью телеканалу ITV News заявил, что выход страны из Евросоюза без заключения соглашения позволит сэкономить до 39 млн фунтов стерлингов, которые можно будет потратить на нужды Соединенного Королевства.

В другом интервью телеканалу Sky News британский премьер сообщил, что успех сделки полностью зависит от ЕС. Он уточнил, что сейчас существует большая вероятность того, что соглашение будет достигнуто, поскольку в последние дни наметился существенный прогресс в переговорах. По его мнению, чтобы получить соглашение, страна должна быть готова к «жесткому» Brexit.

Ранее Джонсон неоднократно заявлял, что 31 октября Великобритания в любом случае покинет ЕС, тогда как Брюссель, продолжает настаивать на том, что не будет заново обсуждать основную часть сделки.
