The volume of consumer loans issued in the eurozone increased by 0.5% in July, while the volume of loans issued to non—financial companies increased by 0.6%. The key indicator of the money supply (M3 aggregate) in the eurozone showed an annual growth of 2.3%. Important economic events await investors ahead: revised US GDP data (Thursday) and preliminary data on August inflation and July unemployment in the eurozone (Friday). Prudential Plc is rising in price by 1.8% — adjusted operating profit of the insurer in the first half of the year increased to $1.54 billion. Elekta AB loses 6.4%, NatWest — 3.8%, Lloyds — 3.2%.
