Сегодня золото обновило максимальное значение стоимости с ноября 2016 года, достигнув отметки $1,306,14 за тройскую унцию. Рост цены был обусловлен серией террористических атак в Испании, что привело к бегству инвесторов в безопасные активы. Фьючерсы на золото выросли на 0,7%. 
 
Цены на драгоценный металл получают поддержку также в результате общей слабости доллара США на фоне разочарованности в политике Дональда Трампа. Участники рынка опасаются, что президент США не сможет бороться с сильным противодействием своих оппонентов во многих важных дипломатических вопросах и не в состоянии реализовать обещанные реформы. 
 
Курс американской валюты перешел к снижению после публикации в среду протокола ФРС США. На фоне низкого уровня инфляции чиновники не могут определиться с планами на повышение процентной ставки в текущем году. Индекс доллара США, показывающий силу доллара по отношению к шести основным валютам, снизился на 0,18% до 93,47.
