Американская компания Amazon, крупнейшая в мире онлайн-площадка для продажи товаров и услуг массового спроса, возглавила в начале года рейтинг самых дорогих компаний мира, обойдя по стоимости Microsoft.

На 7 января 2019 года рыночная капитализация Amazon превысила $796 млрд. На втором месте по стоимости расположилась компания Microsoft ($789 млрд). Замыкает тройку лидеров холдинг Alphabet, в состав которого входит Google ($745 млрд).

Ранее на третьем месте по размеру рыночной капитализации находилась компания-производитель iPhone. Стоимость Apple составляла $702 млрд, однако после появления новостей о низких продажах iPhone капитализация Apple упала до $694 млрд.
