Павел Дуров планирует провести второй раунд закрытых предварительных продаж проекта Telegram перед публичным размещения токенов (ICO) на блокчейн-платформе Telegram Open Network.

Источники сообщают, что общая сумма собранных средств до ICO превысит $1,6 млрд. На прошлой неделе руководство Telegram подало документы в комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC), в которых сообщалось, что в рамках предпродаж проект привлек $850 млн от 81 инвестора.

СМИ также сообщают, что Telegram намерен развивать блокчейн-платформу c собственной криптовалютой. Создатели платформы Telegram Open Network (TON) намерены в будущем конкурировать с платежными системами Visa и Mastercard.
