Společnost Huntington Ingalls získala zakázku v hodnotě 49,7 milionu dolarů na dodatečné práce na lodi USS John C. Stennis

Společnost Huntington Ingalls (NYSE:HII) Inc. se sídlem v Newport News ve Virginii získala dodatek k dříve uzavřené smlouvě v hodnotě 49 706 208 dolarů s odměnou za splnění stanovených cílů. Smlouva zahrnuje dodatečné práce na lodi USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) v rámci komplexní opravy palivového systému.

Práce, které budou provedeny v Newport News ve Virginii, mají být dokončeny do října 2026. Z prostředků na stavbu a přestavbu lodí (námořnictvo) pro fiskální rok 2025 bylo přiděleno 5 000 000 dolarů, které budou uvolněny v okamžiku udělení zakázky. Tato alokace vyprší na konci aktuálního fiskálního roku.

Na zadávací řízení dohlíží Velitelství námořních systémů se sídlem ve Washingtonu, D.C. Tato nová úprava doplňuje stávající smlouvu (N00024-21-C-2106), která byla dříve zadána společnosti Huntington Ingalls Inc. na práce na lodi USS John C. Stennis.
