Великобритания предложит ЕC временный таможенный союз после Brexit

Сегодня будет опубликован официальный правительственный документ Великобритании с предложением о создании временного таможенного союза с ЕС, действующего в течение переходного периода после Brexit. После окончательного выхода Британии из состава Евросоюза государство планирует полностью покинуть таможенный союз ЕС. В этом случае будет установлена новая таможенная граница с Евросоюзом, либо составлено новое соглашение, полностью исключающее наличие таможенных границ. 

Согласно условиям временного таможенного союза, с марта 2019 года поставщики различных товаров и услуг будут освобождены от уплаты импортно-экспортных пошлин на территории всех стран союза. Более того, страны-участницы временного таможенного соглашения уравнивают тарифы на экспортируемые или импортируемые товары и услуги. 

Плюсом временного союза будет являться возможность Великобритании начать торговое сотрудничество со странами вне Евросоюза. На данный момент, являясь пока членом ЕС, Британия лишена такого права. 

Опубликованный сегодня документ станет первым официальным заявлением британских властей о своей позиции в ходе переговоров о Brexit. Завтра ожидается публикация следующего документа, в котором будет рассмотрен вопрос единственной сухопутной границы Соединенного Королевства.
