Indian Oil подписала первый договор на покупку американской нефти за $1,5 млрд

Председатель крупнейшей нефтегазовой корпорации Индии Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)  Санджива Сингха заявил о том, что компания подписала первый годовой договор на покупку нефти из США стоимостью $1,5 млрд. Ежедневный объем поставок нефти при этом составил 60 тысяч баррелей. Действие контракта начнется в апреле и завершится в марте 2020 года.


Помимо подписания договора, компания согласовала условия на импорт до 3 млн метрических тонн нефти из США в рамках стратегии диверсификации поставщиков нефти.


Ранее IOC приобретала углеводороды из США на спотовых рынках, а также заключила краткосрочную сделку о покупке 6 млн баррелей американской нефти в период с ноября 2018 года по январь 2019-го.


Благодаря новой сделке Indian Oil Corporation сможет снизить зависимость от ОПЕК, а также укрепить торговые отношения между Индией и Соединенными Штатами.
