США готовы предоставить отсрочку от пошлин

Власти США могут продлить после 1 мая отсрочку пошлин на импорт стали и алюминия для Мексики, Канады и ряда других стран.

Ранее президент США Дональд Трамп ввел дополнительные пошлины на ввоз в страну стали (25%) и алюминия (10%). При этом для стран Евросоюза, Канады, Аргентины, Бразилии, Мексики, Австралии и Южной Кореи действие пошлин было приостановлено до 1 мая. В данный момент США ведут переговоры с представителями этих стран, в результате которых отсрочка может быть продлена.

Сроки продления отсрочки зависят от достигнутых соглашений в переговорах по этому и ряду других торговых вопросов. Наиболее вероятно, что пошлины могут быть приостановлены в отношении Мексики и Канады.

Пошлины для Южной Кореи будут отменены на постоянной основе, поскольку стороны договорились о квотах в рамках нового торгового соглашения

Ситуация в отношении Бразилии, Австралии, Аргентины и Евросоюза пока что в неопределенном положении.

Власти США выясняют у представителей указанных стран, на какие квоты они могли бы согласиться, чтобы избежать пошлин.
