Великобритания начнет вакцинацию от коронавируса

Соединенное Королевство официально одобрило вакцину, совместно разработанную компаниями Pfizer и BioNTech, что делает ее первой страной в мире, совершившей распространение вакцины от Covid-19.

Великобритания уже закупила 40 миллионов доз вакцины и начнет ее применение на следующей неделе. Первыми ее получат жители домов престарелых, медицинский персонал и люди старше 80 лет.

Вакцина компании Pfizer ожидает утверждения в Европейском Союзе и Соединенных Штатах, следом на очереди препараты, разработанные компаниями Moderna и AstraZeneca.
