Цена на золото слабо растет в понедельник, участники рынка находятся в ожидании дальнейших новостей с фронта торговой войны. По состоянию торгов, стоимость февральского фьючерса на золото на нью-йоркской бирже Comex достигла отметки $1.488,95.

В субботу президент США Д. Трамп подтвердил, что торговое соглашение с Китаем, переговоры о котором стороны ведут более года, будет подписано в ближайшее время. При этом детали сделки не уточняются.

Участники рынка обеспокоены отсутствием дополнительной информации, а также тем, что Китай выразил США протест в связи с включением в проект оборонного бюджета на 2020 год пунктов о поддержке протестующих в Гонконге.
