Ethereum has increased in price by 12.2 thousand times over the decade. In 2015, the ICO cost was $0.31, and today it has reached about $3.78 thousand. The main network was launched on July 30, 2015, when the first block was created, from which the work of the blockchain began. Ethereum's maximum of $4.8 thousand was recorded in the fall of 2021, but this year it failed to update the record. However, over the past month, the altcoin has grown by 53%, while bitcoin has gained only 9.8%. On July 28, ETH reached the maximum of 2025, approaching the $4,000 mark. Investment interest in ETH is increasing: in July, net inflows into Ethereum-based ETFs amounted to $5.4 billion. Today, 66 companies own 2.57 million ETH ($9.7 billion), among them BitMine, SharpLink and Coinbase. The capitalization of the crypto market is $3.94 trillion, the share of Ethereum has grown to 12%, increasing by 31% in a month, while the dominance of bitcoin remains at 61.6%. The price of BTC is holding around $118.2 thousand.
