Чистая прибыль производителя автомобилей Hyundai Motor Co во втором квартале достигла максимума более чем за семь лет на фоне роста продаж в США и внутри страны.

Чистая прибыль южнокорейской корпорации с апреля по июнь 2019 года составила $780,44 млн, увеличившись на 31,2% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года.

Динамика роста прибыли показала максимум с 2012 года, при этом оказалась немного хуже прогнозов аналитиков.

Снижение курса южнокорейской воны способствовало увеличению продаж в США, тогда как выпуск новых моделей автомобилей стимулировали рост показателя на внутреннем рынке.

Продажи внутри страны увеличились на 8,1% за счет большого спроса на внедорожник Palisade и седан Sonata. Теперь руководство Hyundai планирует запустить продажи внедорожника Palisade в США, чтобы удовлетворить меняющиеся предпочтения американских потребителей.
