Президент США Дональд Трамп подписал указ о выходе США из соглашения о Транстихоокеанском партнерстве. Президент оценил подписание данного указа как “большое дело в поддержку американских рабочих”.


Соглашение о ТТП год назад заключили 12 стран Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона, с главными участниками: США и Японией. Планировалось создание широкой зоны свободной торговли. Сейчас президент США планирует начать индивидуальные переговоры по торговле с участниками ТТП.


По замыслу предыдущего президента Барака Обамы соглашение было направлено против Китая и объединяло США с другими странами региона. Но американский конгресс не ратифицировал соглашение о ТТП, а Дональд Трамп окончательно похоронил его.
