Uber намерена привлечь $10 млрд инвестиций

Американская компания Uber Technologies Inc. заключила сделку с консорциумом, возглавляемым японским конгломератом Softbank и Dragoneer, которая может повлечь за собой приток инвестиций на сумму $10 млрд.

Полученные средства Uber намерена инвестировать в расширение бизнеса, создание новых технологий, размещение акций в 2019 году и изменения в корпоративной структуре компании.

Представители Uber рассказали, что компания заключила соглашение о потенциальных инвестициях с консорциумом, возглавляемым SoftBank и Dragoneer. В случае успешного завершения сделки компания намерена направить средства на расширение бизнеса из-за возросшей конкуренции в отрасли.

Кроме того, Uber планирует модернизировать корпоративное управление компанией, чтобы сгладить последствия скандалов. Ранее, в июне этого года, сооснователь Uber Трэвис Каланик оставил пост главы компании под давлением акционеров.

Неделю назад основатель и генеральный директор корпорации Softbank Масаёси Сон заявил, что окончательное решение об инвестициях в сервис-такси Uber пока не принято и будет зависеть от цены и условий. Он пояснил, что основная часть инвестиций предназначена для выкупа акций компании Uber.
