ЦБ Филиппин повысил ключевую ставку до 4,5%

В четверг, 27 сентября, Центробанк Филиппин повысил ключевую процентную ставку на 50 базисных пункта, чтобы сдержать рост инфляции и поддержать курс национальной валюты.

Совет по денежно-кредитной политике филиппинского Центробанка проголосовал за увеличение ставки кредитования до 4,5%, что совпало с прогнозом большинства аналитиков, опрошенных агентством «Рейтер».

ЦБ Филиппин вынужден уже четыре раза за последние пять месяцев повышать процентную ставку (на 150 б. п.), чтобы снизить рост инфляции, стимулируемый за счет увеличения налога, цен на топливо и продовольствие, а также падение курса песо.

В августе уровень инфляции в стране вырос до 6,4%, максимума почти за 10 лет, тогда как целевой уровень регулятора находился в диапазоне 2-4%.
