The US and China have agreed to hold a new round of trade talks in about a month. This was announced by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent following talks with the Chinese delegation in Spain. «We had very good discussions and agreed that the dialogue will be continued in about a month at another venue,» the minister said. A separate topic of the meeting was the TikTok deal. According to Bessent, the parties have worked out the basis of the agreement, which will be discussed next Friday by US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The leaders are expected to finalize the agreements. The Finance Minister clarified that the commercial terms of the deal have already been agreed by private companies, but they will not be publicly disclosed.
