Tesla plánuje spuštění služby robotaxi v Austinu na 12. června, informuje Bloomberg News

Tesla se chystá 12. června spustit v Austinu dlouho očekávanou službu robotaxi, informoval ve středu Bloomberg News s odvoláním na osobu obeznámenou s touto záležitostí.

Datum bylo projednáno interně a může se ještě změnit, dodává zpráva.

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) na žádost agentury Reuters o komentář okamžitě nereagovala.

Na začátku tohoto měsíce generální ředitel Elon Musk uvedl, že výrobce elektromobilů je připraven zahájit testování své dlouho slibované služby robotaxi podle plánu v Austinu v Texasu do konce června.

Úspěšné testování robotaxi je pro Teslu klíčové, protože Musk přesunul zaměření společnosti od vývoje nové, levnější platformy pro elektromobily k zavedení služby robotaxi a humanoidních robotů Optimus. Hodnota Tesly do značné míry závisí na této sázce.

Prodeje Tesly celosvětově klesají v důsledku rostoucí konkurence a také kvůli negativní reakci na politické názory Muska a jeho roli poradce amerického prezidenta Donalda Trumpa.
