Francouzský premiér naléhá na ECB, aby snížila sazby a podpořila růst

Paříž (ČTK) – Francouzský premiér Francois Bayrou vyzval Evropskou centrální banku, aby rychleji snižovala úrokové sazby a pomohla tak podpořit hospodářský růst v Evropě, protože inflace se vrátila na normální úroveň, a uvedl, že je to zásadní, aby bylo možné konkurovat velmocím, jako jsou Čína a Amerika.

„Kdy Evropská centrální banka aktivně podpoří hospodářskou aktivitu zemí (Evropské měnové) unie?“ zeptal se Bayrou. Bayrou řekl v rozhovoru pro list La Tribune Dimanche.

„ECB bude muset také snížit sazby. Pokud to neudělá, nebudeme mít stejné podmínky jako čínská a americká konkurence,“ uvedl ve vzácném komentáři francouzského představitele k měnové politice.

ECB ve čtvrtek snížila úrokové sazby o 25 bazických bodů, což bylo již popáté od června, a snížila sazbu, kterou centrální banka platí za vklady, z 3,0 % na 2,75 %.
